This morning, Year 5 put on a very informative assembly about Eid ul Fitr, which is a special celebration marking the end of Ramadan. We wish a happy Eid to everyone who is celebrating tomorrow!

Thank you to our friends from Open the Book and the wonderful actors from Year 4 who helped bring the Easter story about The Remembering Meal to life in this morning’s assembly.

On Thursday, Year 4 put on a lovely Mothers' Day Assembly for us. If you missed it, you can enjoy the enclosed clip from their performance of a song during the assembly. We hope that all mums, grandmas and carers of Graiseley's children had a lovely celebration over the weekend! Thank you for everything that you do!

Happy World Book Day, everyone! Today, we have come to school in our pyjamas at Graiseley, for a day of reading related activities.

Today we wished good health and happiness for our dear Mrs Sandhu (previously Miss Badhan), who is taking a break from tomorrow to have a baby.

We hope you’re all looking forward to the half term break! ❤️ As a reminder, children break up tomorrow (Friday 13th February) and we will be happily welcoming them back to school on Monday 23rd February ⭐️

Today we said a fond farewell to Ms Lloyd, who is leaving Graiseley for a new job tomorrow. We will miss you, Ms Lloyd, but we are sure that you will do wonderful things in your new role!

We welcomed our children back to an unusually snowy playground today! Due to the conditions, we had staggered playtime for the children. Please make sure that your child is dressed warmly on days like this, with hats, scarves and gloves/mittens as well as warm and dry shoes! Wellies or winter-boots are great; if these get uncomfortable inside, the children can always bring an extra pair of thick socks, or pumps or similar to change into indoors.

We were very lucky at Graiseley today, because Santa visited us! Every class was given treats for the children and a construction game for the whole class to enjoy. Thank you, Santa! We are simply full of Christmas Spirit today, showcasing lovely Christmas jumpers and counting down to the holidays! Remember that school closes early today!

On Friday 12th December Year 5 and Year 6 spent a lovely morning at Jaguar Land Rover. Children had a visit from Santa and each received a gift. A special mention to Emmanuella & Natalie (Year 5), and Seraiah & Minal (Year 6), who won the prizes for the best advert of the new all electric Jaguar. A huge thank you to JLR for a wonderful Christmas treat!

Well done to Year 4 who had a busy day at the farm today!

Well done to all our children in Nursery and Reception, who have put on some wonderful performances of the Nativity for their friends and families over the last week. In case you missed it, we filmed the final show yesterday morning!

Are you looking forward to the holidays? ❤️ As a reminder, we break up for the holidays this Friday (19th December) at 1:30pm! In the new year, we have an INSET Day on Monday 5th January, so we’ll be welcoming all of our students back on Tuesday 6th January at 8:45am. We’re looking forward to seeing you then! ⭐️

Our children in years 4, 5 and 6 had a lovely experience at the Wolverhampton Grand Theatre today, watching a relaxed performance of Sleeping Beauty. Thank you to our friends at the Grand for making this possible. What a treat!
