Happy New Year from all of us at Graiseley – 2026 is here!! ✨

Merry Christmas from all of us at Graiseley Primary School! 🎅❤️⭐️

We were very lucky at Graiseley today, because Santa visited us! Every class was given treats for the children and a construction game for the whole class to enjoy. Thank you, Santa! We are simply full of Christmas Spirit today, showcasing lovely Christmas jumpers and counting down to the holidays! Remember that school closes early today!

Well done to all our children in Nursery and Reception, who have put on some wonderful performances of the Nativity for their friends and families over the last week. In case you missed it, we filmed the final show yesterday morning!

Are you looking forward to the holidays? ❤️ As a reminder, we break up for the holidays this Friday (19th December) at 1:30pm! In the new year, we have an INSET Day on Monday 5th January, so we’ll be welcoming all of our students back on Tuesday 6th January at 8:45am. We’re looking forward to seeing you then! ⭐️

Thank you so much to our friends from Open the Book and the wonderful actors from Year 5 who helped bring the parable about The Big Party to life in this morning’s assembly.

Thank you to our Year 6 children, who put on a wonderful Remembrance assembly on for their parents and KS2 this morning. Also a well done to all the classes who contributed to our vibrant Remembrance cascade display of poppies by the school entrance.

As a reminder, we break up for half term tomorrow at the usual time – we hope you’ll all enjoy a fun and restful break ❤️ Please note we have a teacher training day on Monday 3rd November, so school will remain closed for children. We will be welcoming all the children back to school on Tuesday 4th November at 8:45am!

Today has been our Black History Day! ❤️⭐️ Children have been learning about a local figure, researching, and contributing to some artwork - we hope they all had lots of fun today!

Thank you to Year 3 who put on a lovely harvest assembly for their parents and KS2 this morning! Thank you also to all our families who have contributed to our food collection, which will be passed on to food banks in our area.

Today we are raising funds and awareness for World Mental Health day, to show young children that they are not alone with their mental health.

As a reminder TOMORROW (Friday 3rd October) is our Day of Languages! ❤️🌍 Everyone is invited to come to school wearing red, white, and/or blue. There will be a KS2 themed Tuck Shop available for £1 and we will be having a special themed lunch!

Thank you to all our children and families who supported our fundraising efforts for this very important charity last week, by wearing green and buying cakes!

Thank you to our friends from Open the Book and the talented actors from Year 6 who brought the story about God’s Friend, Abraham, to life in this morning’s assembly.
