    Today, Graiseley staff and children have come to school in their pyjamas, to raise funds for BookTrust. Throughout the school day, whenever Mrs Cartwright blows her whistle, we will Drop Everything And Read! What a brilliant idea!

  • Macmillan Cancer Support Fundraising

    Our whole school is wearing a splash of green today in order to raise awareness and money for the charity Macmillan Cancer Support. Nursery-class even arranged their own sponsored Olympic Event this morning. We have some super sporting-personalities at Graiseley!

  • Peer Supporters in Year 5

    Today, our Year 5 students have had a day out of the classroom, to receive their Peer Support Training. Through various activities, they have learnt about teamwork, problem solving, communication, empathy and practiced their listening skills.

  • Girls in Tech

    Our Year 5 girls have been having fun with new technology this week! The LearnPlay Foundation has been providing them with VR, AR, 3D pens, robotics etc. in a fun manner, as part of their ongoing work to encourage girls into the creative and digital sector. Unfortunately, females are currently under-represented in the tech/digital world and this project will allow them to catch a glimpse of equipment used and possible paths for the future. We hope our girls will go on to achieve great things!
