Thank you to everybody who contributed to our Book Day themed Easter Egg Decoration Competition! It was really hard to choose the winners, as there are so many talented artists in our school, but these children will be taking home a prize for their winning entries: Titibe (Nursery), Jacob (Rec), Gurveer (Y1), Sidaqpreet (Y2), Gurveer (Y3), Mansahib (Y4), Ava (Y5) and Gurpreet (Y6). Great work, these are really eggcellent!

Congratulations to Year 4 who were the best attenders in KS2 this term! To celebrate, we went to McDonald's for a lunch treat yesterday! Well done to all the children and their parents/carers, who got them all to school on time this term!

Our friends next door at Jaguar Land Rover surprised us with a generous gift in this morning’s assembly. They brought in Chocolate eggs for all the staff and children, as an Easter treat. How lucky we are! #jardinemotors  #jaguarlandrover

Thank you to our friends from Open the Book and the wonderful actors from Year 3 who brought a Bible story about two miracles to life in this morning’s assembly.

Tuesday afternoon, Year 4 children put on a lovely musical concert with the help of Ms Lock from Wolverhampton Music Service. They also sang a few songs for our friends and families who came in to support them on the day. Here is a taster of what our children can do now!

Guess who came for a visit with Reception and Nursery yesterday morning..? Three beautiful alpacas, accompanied by Natalie and John! The animals and the children were all gloriously well behaved, and enjoyed the meet and greet where the children were allowed to feed (and stroke, if they felt brave enough!) the super-soft creatures. Thank you to Frankly Alpacas for a truly unforgettable experience!

Today has been a day of celebration for us at Graiseley - it is the International Women's Day, and on Sunday it is Mother's Day. Our Reception class put on a wonderful Mother's Day assembly this morning; thank you to all our friends and families who joined us to watch, and to support their children! We wish all our mums, carers and "mother figures" a wonderful Mother's Day, and a happy International Women's Day to all women everywhere!
