Staff and children at Graiseley are celebrating World Book Day today, dressed up as their favourite book characters! We look forwards to doing lots of reading related activities today.

Thank you so much to our friends from Open the Book, and the talented actors from Year 6, who made the Bible story about Martha and Mary come to life for us his morning. It reminded us that some times we have to put chores or distractions away in order to make time for the special people in our lives - an important message for everybody, we think!

Today we celebrated Children's Mental Health Day at Graiseley, and during dinner break, Sammy Sweetcorn and representatives from Shires Catering came to talk to the children about the importance of eating healthily.

Thank you to Year 3 for setting the tone so beautifully for Children’s Mental Health Day with your assembly this morning! You shared lots of good ideas for what we can do to help our own mental health, and also how we can look out for each other by being a good friend.
